In the midst of the health crisis, the Jeune Afrique group presented a job protection plan (PSE). The measure would affect around 20 jobs linked to the media group's print publication.
During the lockdown period, Jeune Afrique was forced to suspend publication of its print edition in favor of a reinforced digital offering. The magazine was subsequently relaunched on a monthly basis.
According to Ecofin, the media group is expected to maintain the monthly frequency of its print edition in order to strengthen the digitization of its offering, which is available on its website by subscription.
