ADICOMDAYS, created and organized by the African digital creativity laboratory TOTEM Experience, took place on October 22 and 23, 2020.
This fourth edition was somewhat unusual, as it was held entirely online for the first time due to health restrictions related to the Covid-19 crisis.
In total, three highlights—ADICOMFORUM, ADICOMACADEMY, and ADICOMAWARDS—punctuated this latest edition, which was hosted by 71 expert speakers (brands, content creators, media, etc.).
According to the TOTEM Experience team, the event brought together nearly 64,000 people connected to the live streams on Facebook, recorded 12.5 million views for the hashtag #ADICOMDAYS (across all social networks), and generated 6,500 reactions from internet users (likes, comments, and shares).
October 22 was also marked by ADICOMACADEMY with six webinars by our expert trainers and an online module #ADICOMDAY2020 offered on the new ADICOMACADEMY training platform, designed in partnership with the Ivorian startup Etudesk.
With more than 800 entries and 280,000 online votes from the public since June, the ADICOMAWARDS competition for influencer marketing in French-speaking Africa, presented by TV5MONDE Afrique, revealed 35 nominees in seven different categories. Eight winners were awarded prizes.
