The Orange Group launches the second season of Y'Africa

One year after the broadcast of the first season, the Orange group is once again promoting young African talent with the launch of "Y'Africa" season 2.

Present on the continent for many years, Orange has officially announced the new season of the TV magazine "Y'Africa," broadcast on 15 national African channels and on YouTube. Driven by the format's momentum on the continent, Orange is innovating for this new season by adapting the magazine to a podcast format.

Various formats have been devised, but the theme remains the same: to illustrate African culture through the journeys of numerous emerging artists. Y'Africa, a contraction of the expression "Africa Ya lelo" ("Africa today" in Lingala), will consist of eight 26-minute episodes highlighting 24 artists from eight different countries: Botswana, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Morocco, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Tunisia.

As with the first season, the executive production of this second season has been entrusted to FAME Productions, with Dan Assayag as director.

Season 2 will begin airing in the fall of 2021 in 15 African countries, with a special broadcast on the Orange Group's YouTube channel. Additional content will also be deployed to engage the group's various communities on social media.
