Remember, it was in 2017: eleven profiles from the African diaspora, all marked by entrepreneurship, were chosen to embody the renewal of France-Africa relations announced by President Emmanuel Macron.
Since then, they have embodied the Presidential Council for Africa (CPA) and taken part in presidential commitments by focusing on the younger generation and the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
Following a Tour de France of entrepreneurship, the Presidential Council for Africa is now presenting seven solutions, seven levers, to improve support for entrepreneurs from the diaspora.
- PASS Africa: implemented by BPI France, PASS Africa was designed as a label to accelerate the development of high-growth companies focused on Africa that have already raised funds.
- The PASS Africa/EuroQuity community: aimed at creating an ecosystem for exchange and sharing between Africa and Europe
- Launch of phase 2 of the MEET Africa program, designed to create and facilitate an entrepreneurial ecosystem enabling project leaders to contribute to the economic development of their country of origin.
- Creation of a CPA application dedicated to entrepreneurs from the diaspora
- Promotion of diasporas through the "Entrepreneurship for All" program
- Implementation of the "Talents en commun" program: a program led by the AFD and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs
- The V.I.E. Recovery Check for the mobility of young professionals in Africa
