Franck Fanny passed away during the night of July 2 to 3 at the age of 50.
A talented photographer, he won the UEMOA prize at the 13th DAK'art 2018.
But he was also a producer whom we met in 2016 at the launch of the Family Music Show, which he produced in Abidjan with his company Kameleo.
At the time, he told us, "I don't feel like a producer, I'm an entrepreneur, a businessman. But I'm also a photographer… I'm a computer scientist, a planter… That's Africa for you, it's full of opportunities."
Frank Fanny was a photographer and TV show producer, but he was much more than that. He was passionate, eager to experience new things and share them with others.
This is a great loss for Côte d'Ivoire, which has lost one of its most enterprising sons.
