Patrice Motsepe, President of CAF, made several announcements during his latest press conference:

- The next CHAN (African Nations Championship) will take place in Algeria from January 13 to February 4, 2023.
- The CAF Executive Committee has also decided to entrust Egypt with the organization of the African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations, which will take place in

It should be noted that TOTAL signed an eight-year sponsorship contract in 2016, which will end in 2024, and that CANAL+ will also see its broadcasting rights for the African Champions League expire in 2024.
