RTS on track for the 2022 FIFA World Cup

As we announced in early September

, RTS will be the official and exclusive broadcaster in Senegal for the upcoming 2022 World Cup, for which Senegal has qualified.

Since then, RTS has been working flat out: it has produced a trailer entirely focused on supporting its national team

and has signed partnership agreements with numerous sponsors, including KIRENE, SUNUBET, ORANGE MONEY, LAICRAN, and 3X ENERGY.

RTS1 has also launched a daily program broadcast every day at 9 p.m. GMT: ILA QATAR, which means "on the way to Qatar."

This 26-minute studio and report program, presented by Ibrahim MBOUP alongside several commentators and experts, covers all topics related to the World Cup: key issues, Senegal's opponents, a look back at the African teams' qualification, reports on the stadiums, the fans, and more.

Starting on November 20, the broadcast of the matches will begin with the opening ceremony and the broadcast of QATAR-ECUADOR, but the whole country will be eagerly awaiting Monday, November 21, at 4 p.m. GMT for the NETHERLANDS-SENEGAL match, which is already very important for the rest of the competition.
