Africa 24 Group becomes a member of the African Broadcasting Union (ABU)

Following on from the partnership agreement signed in 2019 with the UAR, the African Broadcasting Union announced in a press release on February 2 that it was welcoming the AFRICA 24 Group as a member.

According to Mr. Constant Nemale, founder of the Africa 24 Group, "this membership will enable our Group's four channels to collaborate more effectively with all the continent's media outlets, enhance the quality of local productions, develop synergies, and engage in a dynamic of cooperation to initiate content in the continent's official languages, namely French, English, Portuguese, Arabic, and various African languages."

The Africa 24 Group publishes four television channels:

Africa 24: French-language news channel

Africa 24 English: English-language news channel

Africa 24 infinity: channel dedicated to creative talent in music, art, culture, and fashion

Africa 24 Sport: sports news channel

Through its content exchange platform "AUBVision," the UAR makes Africa 24 Group productions available to its African members and partners (European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), and Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), among others).

In addition, the UAR and the Africa 24 Group will initiate a joint development program in sports, creative industries, youth training, and also with institutional and corporate partners to promote African creative genius in all fields.
