The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football announced, following the meeting held on June 21, the dates of the upcoming competitions to be held in Africa.
The CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
The dates for the next Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which will also be held in Morocco, were announced at the same Executive Committee meeting: it will take place from July 5 to 26, 2025.
According to CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, announcing the competition dates "took much longer than expected because there were complex and sometimes difficult discussions with various stakeholders, given the international and national match schedules."
CAF is committed to protecting and promoting the interests of African players playing in European clubs and around the world. CAF is also committed to building mutually beneficial relationships with the ECA, UEFA, other football confederations, and FIFA. We will continue to work to ensure the development and competitiveness of African football at the global level and among the best in the world.
It should be noted that NEWWORLD TV won the free-to-air and pay-TV broadcasting rights for all Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions until 2025.
