NCI, official broadcaster of the UEFA Champions League

NCI, the New Ivorian Channel, announced in a press release that it has acquired the free-to-air television broadcasting rights for the UEFA Champions League from New World TV for three (3) years in Côte d'Ivoire.

For free-to-air television, the rights include the broadcast in high definition (HD) of one UEFA Champions League match every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. exclusively in Ivory Coast (geoblocking).

NCI, which already has experience broadcasting major sporting events, having aired the last World Cup in Qatar and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Ivory Coast in early 2024, will offer a big Champions League night every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., a big evening presented by Malick Traoré and Teeyah, featuring the biggest stars of Ivorian football, followed by a live match.

This evening, dubbed NCI UEFA Champions League, will revisit all the goals and highlights of the UEFA Champions League, interviews and press conferences, pre-match debriefs, live matches, halftime debriefs, and post-match debriefs.

The launch of the UEFA Champions League on NCI will be marked by the exceptional broadcast of two (2) matches on Wednesday, September 18, and Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

The broadcast will be available on all the usual channels: channel 4 on digital terrestrial television and on the Canal package, as well as on free digital platforms (www.nci.ci, MyNCI app).
