Following the 2019 acquisition of Vibe Radio Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal, owned by the Lagardère group through its subsidiary LARI, Life TV's management announced the name change to Life Radio and the overhaul of these two iconic radio stations in the French-speaking African audiovisual landscape.
It should be noted that behind Life TV is Fabrice Sawegnon, CEO of the Voodoo group and founder of this private Ivorian DTT channel.
The Voodoo group's media offering is now enriched by the two radio stations based in Dakar and Abidjan, renamed "Life Radio." From April 15, 2022, Life Radio will also broadcast on a new frequency, 107.7.
In terms of editorial policy, Life Radio aims to be a generalist radio station covering all aspects of daily life: news, education, entertainment, and music.
These recent changes are part of an overall strategy led by Voodoo, driven by the ambition to become the leading communications and media group in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.
