With 24.4%, TFM remains the clear leader in Senegal and has even seen a slight increase compared to 2018.
In second place, NOVELAS TV obtained 10.6% of the audience share, followed by SEN TV with 7.9%.
BEIN Sport came in fourth
with 6.2% of the audience share.
It is worth noting the entry into the top 10 of "theater channels," which had never before been measured in the AFRICASCOPE study. These channels, which broadcast sitcoms in Wolof and other African languages, are distributed by spider network operators and informally distributed in neighborhoods. They achieved a 4.2% audience share, placing them in sixth position just behind 2STV (4.4%).
