As no TV audience figures are published in Senegal, the number of subscribers to the channel's Facebook page is a substitute indicator that can be used to rank television channels in Senegal. Although not an audience indicator, the number of subscribers is a good indicator of a television channel's popularity, influence, and the relationship it has built with its audience over the years. It also reveals the importance the channel places on digital technology as a means of communication and interaction with the public.
