NCI, La 3, and Life TV occupy the top three spots in the rankings based on the number of Facebook subscribers.
Although not an indicator of audience size, the number of followers on a television channel's Facebook page is indicative of its popularity and influence among the population of a country. Furthermore, as no TV audience figures are made public, this is the only indicator that can be used to predict the ranking of television channels in Côte d'Ivoire.
NCI remains the leader, surpassing the 2 million follower mark, followed by La 3, the RTI group's channel aimed at young people (1,302,000 followers), and Life TV, which narrowly beats A+ Ivoire to third place.
These four channels, which are all part of the new DTT channels, have over a million subscribers despite their relatively recent launch.
It should be noted that the official RTI page, which covers all of the RTI Group's activities, has 1,559,000 subscribers, and the RTI Info page, which centralizes its digital news offering, has 1,160,000 subscribers.
