The 28th edition of Africa's largest film festival ended on March 4 with a victory for Tunisian director Youssef Chebbi. The young director was awarded the Yennenga Golden Stallion, Fespaco's highest honor, for his film Ashkal.
Other prestigious prizes were also awarded by a jury of professionals to recognize the continent's talent.

Finally, during his closing speech, FESPACO General Delegate Alex Moussa Sawadogo announced the dates for the next edition of the festival, which will take place from February 22 to March 1, 2025.
