There were certainly many people tuning in at 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, to discover the SRTB's new visual identity during
the 8 p.m. news broadcast.
Since April 6, the SRTB, headed by Angela Aquereburu-Rabatel, has replaced the ORTB
and taken the opportunity to modernize its image.
The visual identity features the colors of Benin—green, yellow, and red. The flat colors give
it an image of dynamism, modernity, and proximity that permeates all of
the channels' content.
The channels are also changing their logos and even their names.

In addition, the first changes to the programming schedule were announced on BENIN TV, specifically: A revamped
news program
Morning programming from Monday to Friday:
At 9:30 a.m.: Les Maternelles d'Afrique
At 10:30 a.m.: Le Trône, a cultural quiz
at 11 a.m.: A documentary
Early evening programming includes:
weekdays at 7 p.m., La Parfaite Inconnue, an international series of 52 26-minute episodes that turns out to be a TV soap opera blending cultural identities
And on Sundays at 7 p.m.: "Les Couleurs de l'Ombre" (The Colors of Darkness), a brand new 29-episode series from Benin produced by PLURIELLE PRODUCTION AUDIOVISUELLE, created by Exécute de Messie MIVEKANNE, and produced by Alain DEGUENON.
Other programming changes have also been announced on BENIN TV JUNIOR and on the new company's radio stations: RADIO BENIN, which focuses on news and debate; RADIO BENIN ALAFIA, dedicated to Beninese languages; the regional radio station RADIO PARAKOU; and KIFF FM, a music station aimed at young people.
