The second edition of the International Audiovisual Content Exhibition (SICA) opens its doors on November 5.

Since the demise of DISCOP, there has been a growing need for the market to have an international platform for promoting audiovisual content and programs in Africa.

The Ivorian government, aware that cultural and creative industries generate employment, particularly for young people, has expressed its desire to position Côte d'Ivoire as a hub for the creative audiovisual sector, a filming destination, and a land of promotion for African audiovisual content.

This is how SICA was born in 2023, spearheaded by the Ivorian ministers of communication and culture.

The involvement of the Ivorian government has enabled the establishment of high-quality partnerships and promoted the international reach of the trade show: 20 partners, 28 exhibitors, 67 speakers, and

3,000 visitors from 15 different countries are expected to attend the three days of conferences, panels, workshops, masterclasses, and networking events.

This year, SICA's theme is "INNOVATION, DIVERSITY, AND FINANCING IN THE AUDIOVISUAL SECTOR: SOLUTIONS FOR A NEW ERA OF CONTENT."

Several key moments will punctuate the three days of the show, including:
