The "Oasis" series broadcast on CANAL+ ELLES

YOBO Studios and Canal+ International present the broadcast of the series Oasis on Canal+ Elles.

After a successful first broadcast on Canal+ Afrique last November, the series Oasis is back on the Canal+ group's Afrique package on the new Canal+ Elles channel from Sunday, May 3, 2020, at 7:15 p.m.

Created by Madie Foltek, screenwriter of successful African series, Oasis tells the story of Essé, an ambitious young woman who moves into a beautiful apartment complex called "Oasis, the source of happiness" to carry out industrial espionage for a competitor. But her mission is compromised when she finds an old acquaintance there.

The 100% Togolese series is a Yobo Studios production that delivers on its promise to showcase local and pan-African talent by promoting heritage and professionalism. It should be noted that the series features mainly Togolese actors such as Julio Teko, Aimée Akapko-Toulan, Florence Kitcha, Dicta Mablé, Jean-Claude Oyali, and Angela Aquereburu.

In keeping with the aim of promoting pan-African talent and joining forces, a cast of pan-African guest stars has also been added to the series. You will therefore find actors from all over Africa, such as Michel Bohiri, Viateur, Ray Reboul, Stéphane Zabavy from Côte d'Ivoire, Marie Humbert and Maame Adjei from Ghana, and Gustave Sorgho from Burkina Faso.

It should also be noted that Oasis had the honor of winning the Audience Award at the 2018 Vue d'Afrique Festival and was also selected for the 2018 La Rochelle Fiction Festival.

Oasis, which comprises 20 episodes of 26 minutes each, will be broadcast from Sunday, May 3, 2020, over a period of five weeks, with two episodes every Sunday at 7:15 p.m.

This is an opportunity for Angela Aquereburu and Jean-Luc Rabatel to show Africa that African cinema still has a bright future ahead of it.
