The Melody d'Afrique channel pays tribute to Manu Dibango

Nicknamed "Papa Groove," Cameroonian saxophone legend Manu Dibango died on March 24, 2020, from complications related to coronavirus.

Melody d'Afrique, a music channel dedicated to the roots of African music and artists from the continent, pays him a final tribute. Throughout April, the channel is changing its programming to highlight this exceptional artist and his talent through shows, concerts, documentaries, and the following highlights:

  • Paris Black Night – Manu Dibango concert on April 12 at 8:50 p.m.
  • Musicouleur – Manu Dibango concert in Ivory Coast, accompanied by the RTI orchestra – April 18 at 8:50 p.m.
