The CANAL+ Group is delighted to announce the renewal of French-language broadcasting rights for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 for its subscribers in sub-Saharan Africa and Mauritius until 2028.
This agreement allows CANAL+, a partner of the Bundesliga since the 2020-2021 season, to continue broadcasting the best matches of the German championship, as well as the German Super Cup and end-of-season playoff matches live on CANAL+ Sport channels for five additional seasons, thanks to the expertise of CANAL+ commentators and journalists.
The two organizations will work together to promote soccer at all levels and develop their fan communities across Africa. CANAL+ also retains the right to broadcast the league in local languages in certain countries.

It should be noted that CANAL+ is the only official broadcaster in sub-Saharan Africa to offer all five of Europe's top competitions: LIGUE 1 Uber Eats, the Premier League, LaLiga Santander, Serie A TIM, and the UEFA Champions League.
CANAL+ will also be the official broadcaster of the TotalEnergies 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place next January in Ivory Coast.
