The Abidjan Animation Festival is an annual cultural event created in 2018 that offers participants a different perspective on animation and organizes screenings of animated works from many countries, training workshops, and conferences led by professionals. For 2024, the call for films ends on December 1 and is open to "any animation intended for children and families, for cinema, television, or any other screening platform, produced after January 1, 2021."
To compete, films must be submitted by February 27, 2024, in one of the following categories:
a) Feature film
b) Short films
– TV shows
– TV episodes and webisodes
c) Commissioned short films
-Educational or scientific short films
-Advertising or promotional films
-Music videos
d) End-of-study film
