The Confederation of African Football and TECNO Mobile have signed an agreement under which TECNO Mobile will become one of the official sponsors of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d'Ivoire 2023, which will take place next January.
TECNO Mobile is a subsidiary of the Chinese group Transsion Holdings based in Shenzhen, specializing in the manufacture and marketing of smartphones. Since its creation in 2008, TECNO Mobile has focused on the African market, where it is now present in almost every country.
CAF and TECNO Mobile formalized their partnership during a ceremony in Singapore on September 21, 2023, attended by CAF Secretary General Véron Mosengo-Omba.
