Chinese pay-TV operator STARTIMES has announced the acquisition of UEFA national team broadcasting rights for the period 2019-2022 across sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa).
The rights acquired include the broadcasting of Euro 2020 matches, which will be played from June 12 to July 12, 2020. The rights also cover other sporting competitions such as:
– The European Qualifiers (2019-2020)
– The UEFA Nations League (2020-2021)
– The European Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup (2021-2022)
– Friendly matches
