Advertising investments collected by the Omedia institute in Cameroon reached 4.455 billion CFA francs in 2022. This is roughly the same level as in 2021.
However, the beginning of the year was very dynamic, with +15.9% in the first quarter, but month after month, advertisers limited their investments in the channels studied.
This decline continued at the end of 2022, despite the World Cup being broadcast on CRTV and Cameroon's team participating in the tournament: advertisers' investments fell by 5.5% in November and December 2022.
