The signing ceremony for the agreement between KANTAR S.A., the Economic Interest Group of DTT Broadcasters, and the HACA took place on Friday, March 7, 2025.
This agreement is a major milestone in providing Côte d'Ivoire with a means of measuring audiovisual media audiences, with all stakeholders agreeing that audience measurement is essential for structuring and revitalizing the Ivorian audiovisual industry.
René Bourgoin, president of HACA, once again emphasized the importance of this measurement tool in his speech. In an interview with Adweknow a few weeks ago, he explained that once this final stage of signing the contract had been completed, the first results would be available approximately two months later.
The ceremony was attended by leading representatives of television channels: Michel MUTOMBO-CARTIER, Managing Director of A+ Ivoire; Guy SAWEGNON, Program Director at Life TV; Jean-Philippe KABORE, founder of 7info; and Ange GUEÏ, Managing Director of Nouvelle Chaîne Ivoirienne (NCI) and President of the Economic Interest Group of DTT Publishers (GIE). Anne-Lise TOURSEL, Managing Director in charge of customer relations at KANTAR, signatory of the contract, and Florence GINIER, Director of the Media Measurement Department at KANTAR, represented KANTAR S.A. Aly BERTHE, Consultant for the HACA, was also honored for his participation in the drafting and finalization of the contract.
