In its Africascope 2023 study, KANTAR surveyed people in eight French-speaking African countries about their perceptions of environmental and social issues.
The results of this study, along with others conducted by Kantar in Africa (Africa Life, Sustainability Sector Index, etc.), show a rise in CSR awareness among the public and businesses on the continent, with growing recognition of the importance of integrating sustainable practices into their activities.
The webinar organized on May 30 by KANTAR in partnership with Sciences Po Grenoble and Adweknow, with contributions from Canal+ Advertising, TV5 Monde, and France Media Monde, will address the following points:
- What are the main CSR issues from the perspective of the population in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa?
- How is the local population involved in this issue in their daily lives? What are their trade-offs?
- What are the expectations of the media in terms of covering and supporting them on this issue?
- How do media outlets or brands that operate in this region or wish to expand there incorporate CSR considerations into their strategies?
