While the "free" Ivorian channels RTI and NCI had purchased a package from New World TV comprising the 33 best matches of the Africa Cup of Nations,
An agreement was signed just hours before the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations following discussions between the Ivorian government, free-to-air channels, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), New World TV, and the CANAL+ Group.
Following this agreement, NCI and La 3 (RTI group) will broadcast the entire competition, comprising 52 matches, free of charge on DTT and for 5,000 CFA francs per month on the Access package of the Canal+ pay-TV channel.
