PlaYce and Carrefour inaugurated in Cameroon

After the two PlaYce shopping centers in Côte d'Ivoire located in Marcory and La Palmeraie, CFAO has finally opened its third shopping center in sub-Saharan Africa and its first in Central Africa.

Located in the heart of the city, this shopping center, which has 12,000 m² of retail space and cost more than 25 billion CFA francs, is home to the country's first CARREFOUR hypermarket.

Already present in Cameroon in CFAO shopping centers through Carrefour Market supermarkets, Carrefour is changing scale to better withstand competition from Casino, which has a strong presence in the country.

CFAO expects 4 million visitors a year at PlaYce Yaoundé, which has around 50 stores, including Jules, Lacoste, and La Grande Récré, as well as restaurants.
