The Orange Group is once again promoting young African talent with the launch of season 2 of the "Y'Africa" podcast.
Present on the continent for many years, Orange launched the magazine "Y'Africa" several years ago. Originally conceived and designed for television, broadcast on 15 African national channels and YouTube, the magazine "Y'Africa" was then transformed into a podcast. Although the format is still in its infancy on the African market, it has remained very popular in recent years.
Driven by momentum, Orange decided to innovate by adapting the magazine to a podcast format while retaining the same theme: showcasing African culture through the journeys of numerous emerging artists.
Y’Africa, a contraction of the expression “Africa Ya lelo” (“Africa today” in Lingala), consists of eight 26-minute episodes highlighting the African art scene in various African countries: Senegal, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, etc.
