On Friday, January 14, 2022, Orange Côte d'Ivoire inaugurated its new headquarters, "Orange Village," in Abidjan.
The inauguration ceremony, presided over by His Excellency Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, was attended by Mr. Patrick Achi, Prime Minister; Mr. Roger Adom, Minister of Digital Economy, Telecommunications, and Innovation; Mr. Stéphane RICHARD, Chairman and CEO of the Orange Group; Mr. Alioune NDIAYE, Chairman and CEO of Orange Africa and Middle East; and Mr. Mamadou BAMBA, CEO of Orange Côte d'Ivoire.
The telecommunications leader in Côte d'Ivoire is proud to unveil this seven-story building with its resolutely modern architecture, which stands like a jewel in the lagoon bay of the Riviera Golf district in Cocody (Abidjan).
Covering an area of 15,000 m², it can accommodate up to 900 employees in spaces designed to promote collaboration, stimulate innovation, and reduce stress at work.
Orange Village benefits from numerous green spaces and multiple eco-friendly facilities that reflect the values of a committed company concerned with the efficient management of its resources.
Within this attractive and eco-responsible setting, a "5G ready" infrastructure has been deployed, offering very high-speed broadband (VHSB) connectivity in all "fully digital" spaces. This allows for flexibility in the use of workstations and a new experience of sharing and co-construction.
Already recognized for its civic engagement, illustrated by the publication of a non-financial report that is unprecedented in the sector, Orange Côte d'Ivoire is thus confirming its local roots.
For Stéphane Richard, Chairman and CEO of the Orange Group, "The construction of this new headquarters is a symbol of our strong and lasting roots in Côte d'Ivoire, serving our customers. We have always been convinced of the immense potential of the continent, and West Africa in particular. Côte d'Ivoire is spearheading the digital transformation. This new headquarters is a source of pride for the entire Orange Group." "
According to Mamadou BAMBA, CEO of Orange Côte d'Ivoire, "I am proud to inaugurate, together with all our employees, this new headquarters in the heart of Abidjan. Working alongside the people of Côte d'Ivoire since 1996, we strive every day to promote the rollout of digital technology and support the digital transformation of our economy. As the leading employer in telecoms, we invest on a daily basis, and this new innovative and eco-friendly headquarters is testament to our economic, social, and environmental footprint."
