Nollywood Week returns in 2024 and promises to be disruptive

The 11th edition of Nollywood Week is taking place at the Cinéma l'Arlequin in Paris from May 2 to 5. 5,000 people are expected to attend this must-see Nigerian film festival.

Launched by curators Nadira Shakur and Serge Noukoué, Nollywood Week is gradually unveiling the program for its upcoming edition, which will highlight African storytelling and technology, creativity, and the dynamics of AI: from animation to virtual reality and video games from Africa. This theme marks a break with previous editions.

No fewer than eight feature films and six short films from Nigeria and other African countries will be screened as part of the official selection. Four films will be presented in virtual reality and four round tables will be organized on various topics.
