The MTV Staying Alive Foundation (MTV SAF) is organizing auditions for the second season of its MTV Shuga Babi series.
Following the success of the first season, which aired on RTI and NCI, the series will once again be produced in Côte d'Ivoire with the support of Unitaid and numerous local partners such as the Côte d'Ivoire Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene, the National AIDS Control Program, and the NGO Ruban Rouge.
True to its mission, MTV Shuga Babi promises a second season full of music, dance, and celebration of Ivorian youth… without forgetting to raise awareness about HIV, sexual health, and gender-based violence.
More than just a TV series, MTV Shuga Babi has revealed talents such as MJ Martialo (Ousmane), Remy Adan (Matéo), Reine Esther Toué (Vanessa), and Kévin Koffi (Kara), selected in the national casting for season 1. It is also a large digital community with over 25,000 subscribers and 1 million views on the MTV SHUGA EN FRANÇAIS YouTube channel. In preparation for the upcoming season, an open casting call is being organized!
