MEDI1 News: MEDI1 TV goes digital

The Medi1 media group has officially launched its new digital media outlet, Medi1 News, to analyze current events in the Maghreb and Africa.

Available in Arabic and French, this new digital news platform is the result of a collaboration between Medi1 Radio and Medi1 TV, a television channel founded in 2006 in Tangier, Morocco.

Since 2013, Medi1 TV has consisted of a bouquet of three rolling news channels: Maghreb, Africa, and Arabic. Medi1 TV Afrique is a pan-African French-language news channel launched in 2017 and run by an editorial team based in Dakar and Abidjan.

Today, the media group is expanding into the digital sphere with a new bilingual platform whose content will cover local, regional, continental, and international news on the web and via a mobile app, based on audiovisual content produced by the aforementioned editorial teams and their digital counterparts.
