According to the Omedia Institute, a new record was set in August 2020 in Côte d'Ivoire: the combined advertising investment of the three RTI channels, A + Ivoire, NCI, and Life TV showed an increase of nearly 70% compared to the previous year and came close to the billion CFA franc mark, which had only been reached in March and July 2020.
As in 2019, non-alcoholic beverages ranked first among business sectors, followed by food and telecommunications.
The new momentum initiated when private channels were created continues month after month.
