Advertising investments by TV advertisers doubled in December compared to the same month last year.
In December alone, channels surveyed by Omedia collected nearly 1.9 billion CFA francs in gross advertising investments.
As every month, the market is dominated by major advertisers in the telecoms, beverages, and cleaning/hygiene/beauty products sectors.
Of note is the presence of the non-governmental organization Save the Children in fifth position.

For the year as a whole, December's exceptional performance enabled the advertising market to grow by nearly 46% and reach a record level of 11.8 billion CFA francs.
