IPTV in Ivory Coast: +10.9% in the third quarter of 2023

Advertising investments in television in Côte d'Ivoire (IPTV), measured by the Omedia institute, which tracks IPTV in several African countries, increased by +10.9% in the third quarter of 2023 compared to the third quarter of 2022.

It is mainly in August (+20% vs. 2022) and September (+28% vs. 2022) that the TV market is showing signs of recovery, thanks in particular to a major campaign by the Ministry of Health for universal health coverage (CMU) in August, supported by major traditional advertisers (Orange, CANAL+, Céleste, MTN, etc.).

Despite this slight improvement, the first six months of the year saw a very significant decline, and the first nine months of the year remain well below the level of 2022 (-12.9%) and have not caught up with that of 2020.
