According to data from the Omedia institute, which tracks gross television advertising investments (IPTV) each month in several French-speaking African countries, these investments increased by +19.5% in Cameroon in 2021 compared to 2020.

As a result, IPTV, which reached nearly 4.4 billion CFA francs in Cameroon, has now returned to and exceeded its 2019 level after a year of sharp decline in 2020.
December 2021, which has long been the best month of the year, saw record growth of +54% thanks to traditional advertisers (CANAL+, which always invests heavily at the end of the year, MTN and ORANGE, 1Xbet, PMUC, etc.) but also thanks to new advertisers such as ISCOM's PURITII air purifier, General Express Voyages, and Johnny Walker, which appear in the TOP 10 for the first time.
