The months go by, but they are not all the same.
In Senegal, the year got off to a bad start, as according to the Omedia institute, which conducts monthly surveys of advertisers' television advertising investments, these fell by 27% compared to January 2020.
February saw a slight recovery, with IPTV growing by 14.5%.
Nevertheless, over the two months combined, IPTV is still down 8.6% compared to the same period last year.
On the advertiser side, the biggest investors were, as usual, betting sites, telecom advertisers, and major food and hygiene brands. However, it is worth noting that, for the second month in a row, CCBM Industries, which markets major automotive brands, particularly Volkswagen, ranked second.
