Insign establishes a presence on the continent with Senegalese agency AK Project

Specializing in data, technology, and creation, Insign is a creative consulting agency that supports brands and companies in their growth and value creation strategies.

Based in Paris, Lyon, and Tournon-sur-Rhône, the agency has been expanding internationally for several years. After tackling the Californian market with the opening of an agency in Los Angeles, Insign is accelerating its development, this time on the African continent.

On November 7, the management officially announced the acquisition of the AK-Project communications agency based in Dakar. The French agency is thus continuing its expansion in Senegal thanks to a move it describes as "an opportunity for growth on a booming continent."

For Lionel Cuny, President of Insign, "this merger is really exciting because we have a lot to learn from Africa, particularly its ability to finely segment audiences using cultural, geographical, and linguistic criteria and to create offers very quickly in a way that is both strategic and opportunistic. We will also be able to offer our clients the opportunity to support them in a high-growth area undergoing rapid digital transformation. "

"With this merger, we want to accelerate our ability to address more structured clients, support our development in the sub-region, and establish ourselves as a partner for the growth of African companies," adds Julien Malle, CEO of AK-Project.

As a gateway to the continent, Insign will leverage its expertise in African markets, particularly French-speaking ones. The two entities began their collaboration by supporting brands such as Blédina and Renault Trucks in rolling out campaigns on the continent.
