Following the recent appointment of Provit Chemmani as CEO Africa, based in Johannesburg, Havas announces the appointment of Alberto Canteli as Executive Chairman Africa, effective September 1, alongside his roles as Chairman and CEO of Havas Northern, Central & Eastern Europe, Benelux, and the Middle East.

With solid experience in managing complex and diverse regions, Alberto Canteli brings both strategic vision and operational excellence to this key market. He has successfully led the deployment of Centers of Excellence in several regions around the world, experience that will be instrumental in accelerating Havas' transformation and strengthening its impact in Africa.
This appointment follows the recent appointment of Provit Chemmani as CEO Africa, based in Johannesburg, who will report directly to Alberto Canteli. This change in governance aims to breathe new life into Havas' operations and position Africa as a strategic lever for growth within the Group's global ambitions.
