(Press release)

Starting Monday, September 2, France 24 in French will offer live subtitles for its 7 a.m. (Monday through Friday) and 10 a.m. (Saturday and Sunday) news programs, bringing the number of subtitled programs to four per day and making international news more accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers.

The French international news channel now broadcasts four live subtitled news programs every day: 7 a.m. (Monday to Friday), 10 a.m. (Saturday to Sunday), 1 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10:45 p.m. (every day).

In addition, three image-based newspapers with French and English subtitles are also available daily on the France 24 website, accessible worldwide, to provide even more inclusive information on a global scale.
