In a press release published on November 26, ABOUBACAR DIALLO, the CEO of the recently created Guinean group GFM (Groupe Fréquence Médias), announced the upcoming launch of a radio station, FIM FM, and a television channel, FIM 24, which received their licenses from the Guinean Minister of Information and Communication on November 16.
FIM FM and FIM24 are positioned as 24-hour news media outlets and will be complemented by the general news website www.fimguinee.com and the social media platforms @fimguinee.
Aboubacar Diallo, a well-known journalist in Guinea, was until last August a columnist, journalist, and administrator of the general news website mosaiques-guinée.com.
The launch schedule for FIMFM and FIM 24 will be announced shortly.
