INTERNET USE
Three countries are progressing faster than average: Ivory Coast (+16 points), Gabon (+18 points), and Burkina Faso (+18 points).
In 2025, five countries will have an above-average number of Internet users: SENEGAL, which is by far the country with the highest Internet usage (85%), COTE D'IVOIRE, GABON, MALI, and BURKINA FASO.

While Facebook has declined slightly across all countries, TIKTOK has grown by 27 points (+60%) in two years. In some countries, the simultaneous decline of Facebook and the growth of Tiktok are such that TIKTOK is now well ahead of Facebook.
This is the case in SENEGAL, where TIKTOK reaches nearly 90% of the population, and in MALI, which has seen a significant drop in interest in Facebook.
In Gabon and Côte d'Ivoire, TIKTOK's growth over two years has reached or exceeded 35 points.
