D3TV will be launched in Mali on December 1st.
This private channel, which initially planned to focus mainly on movies and series, will offer a much more ambitious lineup starting December 1, including reality TV shows, magazines, and news reports.
The channel is run and managed by Fousseyni Maïga, a well-known actor, director, and entrepreneur in the Malian film industry. He was the Director General of the CNCM (National Center for Cinematography of Mali), which he recently left to devote himself to his new channel.
He is also the founder of the production company Arc en ciel.
The launch of the channel, which will be broadcast on Malivision via Startrack decoders and live on the D3TV website, was preceded by several months of sustained presence on social media: D3 TV already has 44,000 followers on Facebook and 16,000 on YouTube, where teasers for upcoming episodes of the series and short reports can be found.
D3 TV embodies a modern vision of audiovisual media in Mali, celebrating the diversity and creativity of local cinema and audiovisual talent.
