In a statement released on December 10, the National Audiovisual Regulation Council (CNRA) ordered Canal+ Senegal to remove Netflix from its commercial offerings.
According to the CNRA, Canal+ Senegal has included and promoted Netflix in its packages without obtaining the required agreement or providing the supporting documents proving its right to distribute and/or sub-distribute Netflix, as requested in August 2025.
The CNRA has given Canal+ Senegal seven (7) days from the date of signing the decision to comply and cease integrating Netflix into its commercial offerings in Senegal.
