Les Ateliers de Grand-Bassam, an initiative derived from the Ouaga Film Lab, is launching a call for projects for its 8th edition, from September 15 to 22, 2024, in Côte d'Ivoire.
The call for projects is open to all authors from the African continent, for feature films, documentaries, and series.
As a reminder, Ouaga Film Lab is a laboratory for the development and co-production of film projects that promotes encounters between experts and young talent from the African continent and the networking of African talent with professional networks from the rest of the world. It is a vast network created to strengthen the capacities of young start-ups through training and coaching in the film industry.
At the end of the application phase, Les Ateliers de Grand-Bassam will select 10 projects that will be supervised by internationally renowned mentors and trainers for an in-depth support and training phase covering various areas of film production.
The most promising projects will subsequently be rewarded with residency grants.
Applications may be submitted until May 30, 2024.
