outside the three countries we analyzed separately: Senegal, Cameroon, and Ivory Coast.
Although not an indicator of audience size, the number of subscribers to a television channel's Facebook page is indicative of its popularity and influence among a country's population. Of course, the variations observed from one country to another depend on many factors, such as population size and the penetration rate of the internet and social media.
