Appointments at TV5 Monde

As part of TV5Monde's strategic information development plan, the channel has made several appointments and promotions to strengthen its multilateral information offering, roll out magazines and special operations, and accelerate digital production.

Florence Lozach has been appointed editorial director of TV5Monde. She will take up her post on June 16.

During a career that began with the TF1 Group, Florence Lozach has worked with most of the major news media outlets: foreign correspondent for RFI, Europe 1, BFM TV, Le Parisien, and M6 between 2008 and 2010, video producer for the programs 13h15 le samedi and 13h15 le dimanche on France 2, senior reporter for i-Télé, journalist and editor-in-chief at TV5 Monde, then deputy editor-in-chief at LCI.

Maxime LE ROUX has been appointed Digital Director in charge of information and will also take up his new position on June 16.

He was previously deputy editor-in-chief in charge of the morning show at BFM TV since 2023, after working with AFP and HuffPost as a journalist, editor, and managing editor, and at Le Parisien, where he was deputy head of the news department.

In addition, Xavier MARQUET, who has been with TV5Monde since 2004, has been promoted to Director of Magazines and Special Operations.

At TV5MONDE, he was successively a reporter, managing editor, and then editor-in-chief.

He will now be responsible for the editorial content of the channel's magazines (Objectif Monde, Terriennes, MOE, Mots de la Paix, L’humeur de Linda, and the new news content project for teenagers) as well as special external operations.
