The agency AG Partners DAKAR and its client, the European Union Delegation to Senegal, were recognized in two categories (Planet and Institutional Communication) with Silver Awards at the 2024 edition of the Luum Awards for their work on the Hann Bay Cleanup Project (PDBH).
The Luum Award, based in Geneva, Switzerland, is the world's first festival dedicated to creativity, exclusively rewarding messages that seek to awaken social, civic, or environmental awareness…
The two categories in which AG partners DAKAR and its client were awarded prizes are
- The Planet category highlights the best creative messages and actions that promote care for the planet, from prevention to awareness.
- The Institutional Communication category for NGOs highlights the internal and external institutional communication of NGOs. It also rewards messages that seek to position or recognize the important work that this type of organization does for society.
It is the entire range of communications campaigns carried out over these three years that has been recognized in the Institutional Communication category.
And the film "Let's Change Our Habits" in the "Planet" category
AG Partners DAKAR is the only agency in the French-speaking sub-Saharan African world to have been awarded a prize at this festival, which presented 96 trophies to agencies from around the world.
Across the African continent, there are three other award-winning agencies:
- The Moroccan agency Boomerang, for the campaign "Act now before it melts" for Greenpeace
- The Idées X3M agency in Nigeria for a campaign entitled "Let's not burn their future" for the FCCPC and the campaign on "World Rainforest Day" for the Nigerian Conservation Foundation.
- and MAAD McCANN Uganda for the campaign "The Game of Change – End Child Marriage" for UNICEF
