Afrique XXI, a committed and independent media outlet, is appealing for donations

In September 2021, journalists, academics, and activists launched Afrique XXI, a new online media outlet.

This free and independent media outlet aims to provide a different perspective on current events on the continent through articles, news reports, investigations, and analyses that differ from what is found in most media outlets.

We are natives who devote a large part of our professional lives to the African continent. With this site, we want to contribute to a better understanding of this continent, whose image is often partial, even caricatural, and whose treatment in the French media is regularly tinged with paternalism."

Accessible free of charge, Afrique XXI requires financial support. The founders have therefore launched an appeal for donations to continue its activities and support independent journalism on the African continent.
